HOYSALA SPLENDOURS

Day 1 - Arrive Bengaluru (40 Kms)
Arrive into Bengaluru, the garden city formerly known as Bangalore, meet and transfer to hotel for 01 night stay. Bengaluru is known for its numerous parks and avenues. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Bangalore including Tipu Sultan's Palace, Bull Temple, Lalbagh Gardens, Cubbon Park & Museum and Vidhana Soudha - which houses both the State Legislature and Secretariat. Overnight stay at Bangalore.
 
Day 2 - To Mysore (120 Kms)
After breakfast check out from your hotel and drive to Mysore. The capital of a former princely state, Mysore is a city of palaces and gardens and is famous for its silk, sandalwood and jasmine. With many grand palaces like Mysore Palace adorning the face of the city, Mysore has come to be known as 'City of Palaces'. The name Mysore has its roots in Indian mythology. The legend has it that Goddess Chamundi killed Demon Mahishasura here. Thus the name Mysore. The city was once the capital of Wodeyar Dynasty till Independence.

En route, visit Srirangapatnam, a city surrounded by River Kaveri form all sides. The town gets its name from the famous Temple Ranganathaswamy Temple that dominates the landscape of the town. Srirangapatna once served as the capital of Mysore during the reign of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. The latter built Srirangapatna as his fortress.

On arrival, check into the hotel for a nights stay. Evening free to explore the colorful bazaars. Overnight stay at Mysore.
 
Day 3 - To Kabini / Nagerhole (100 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Kabani, Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park, the Kabini River Lodge is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for a long-awaited vacation. Once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja Gaur, Chital, Sambar and Barking Deer, Sloth Bears and Langur. Crocodiles and over a hundred species of birds and the elusive Cats, the Leopard and Tiger.

Reach in time for lunch and later proceed for a jungle safari to see the wildlife. Overnight at Kabini.
 
Day 4 - To Hassan with visit of Belur & Halebid (150 Kms)
After a leisurely breakfast proceed to Hassan a pleasant, picturesque town in the heart of Malnad. Visit Belur and Halebid. Belur, 34 km from Hassan is also known as the Dakshina (southern) Varanasi. The serenity of Belur is attributed to the celebrated temple of Chennakeshava, belonging to 1117 AD. Halebid has several strikingly beautiful Hoysala temples and Jain shrines. Overnight stay at Hassan.
 
Day 5 - To Hospet (300 Kms)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Hospet, the satellite town built during the reign of Krishnadevaraya. This is a typical country town of Karnataka and is frequented by tourists who come to see the ruins of the great Vijayanagara empire. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for 02 nights stay.
 
Day 6 - At Hospet visit of Hampi
After a leisurely breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Hampi to explore the ruins and temples. Once the flourishing capital of the Vijayanagar Empire, Hampi was abundant in wealth, military prowess, and culture. The Pampati Swami Temple, the Queen's Bath, the Lotus Mahal, the King's Balance and the musical pillars of the Vittala Temple evoke memories of bygone splendour. Other main attractions here are the temple complex of Lord Virupaksha, Ugra Narasimha, Matanga Hill and the Vittala Temple Complex. Evening, back to the hotel for overnight stay at Hospet..
 
Day 7 - To Hubli via Pattadakkal, Aihole & Badami (315 Kms)
After breakfast, drive to Pattadakkal, a world heritage centre. The town has 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture.Later visit Aihole the ancient capital of Chalukyas. Famous as the cradle of Indian Architecture, Aihole has over a hundred temples scattered around the village, built between the 6th and 8th centuries. Situated on the left bank of the Malaprabha river. Continue driving to Badami, picturesquely situated at the mouth of a ravine between two rocky hills, famous for its cavetemples-all hewn out of sandstone on the rockface of a hill. Lunch at Badami and continue driving to Hubli for overnight stay after some lengthy days travel.
 
Day 8 - To Goa (190 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Goa. Upon arrival Check into a beach resort for 02 nights' stay. Once a Portuguese settlement which still reflects very much in the culture and life style, Goa needs no introduction and by far is the most comprehensive beach spots of India and known for its night life, Goa's coastline provides endless sun-drenched crescents of sand. Whitewashed chapels and churches that dot the landscape are surrounded by sleepy villages and rice fields. Overnight stay at Goa.
 
Day 9 - At Goa
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Goa covering the churches and Panjim city. Afternoon is free to relax by the beach. Overnight stay at Goa.
 
Day 10 - Departure from Goa
In time departure transfer to GOA Airport (1 hour drive) assisted by our representative.
